TOTAL

TOTAL :
Philippe Ricoux, DG/Direction Scientifique

Since its foundation in 1986, Noesis has been a privileged partner of the Total group, which chose Visilog as its basic tool for the majority of its image processing applications, both in the petrol sector and its chemical and health branches.

Since then the Total group has progressed, as has Noesis too: in 1996 the first version of Visilog 3D was started in partnership with the INRIA. In 2003 a three-party agreement between Total, Noesis and TGS (now called VSG-3D) developed the XQuant module which is now part of the Avizo suite.

With Noesis over all these years, Total group has been pleased to remain faithful to strategy of maintaining long-term partnerships: this allows all branches of Total group to use common software that favours exchanges and knowledge sharing, leading to the development of software adapted to its operational objectives while improving each sector's competitiveness, and allowing them to be resold in order to guarantee long useful life.

SANOFI AVENTIS

SANOFI AVENTIS :
Yves Collenot, chef de projet informatique

Sanofi-Aventis R&D chose Noesis almost twenty years ago to supply a complete software environment for image acquisition/processing/analysis (Visilog, from version 4 to the current version 6) and for the development of specific applications in which complex and innovative algorithmic techniques are used. In addition Visilog's development capabilities enabled us to develop applications in compliance with regulations in the pharmaceutical industry.

BIOSPACE

BIOSPACE :
Serge Maitrejean, PhD Directeur des Opérations, COO

Biospace Lab has been using the Visilog platform for over ten years to build its pre-clinical molecular imaging processing and analysis software suite. The capacity to handle floating images, multidimensional data (volumetric, chromatic, and kinetic) was a deciding factor in this choice. In addition the possibility of customising the interfaces using VBA allowed us to give the software suite a look and feel that complies with the GUI standards that are current in our field of activity.
